As I waited (start truck, move a couple feet, turn off truck, repeat) to have my turn to unload the tires, the man behind me came over and told me he heard that if you only had tires, you could go to the front of the line. I was hesitant to give up my spot in line after waiting two hours. But he offered to let me back in if it didn't work. I saw trucks filled with tires going by me. So I drove to the front to find out everyone had to wait in line.
I was ready to give up and go home. But I drove down to see if there was a way to get back in line in front of the guy I talked to. The guy jumped out of his truck and offered to throw my tires in his truck. On top of all his stuff. Mission accomplished. Thanks to the kindness of a stranger.
