Gone Quickly

We knew this day would come. Eventually. But I was not ready to say goodbye to my beloved dad. Our kids' grandpa. Loving husband, brother, uncle, teacher, and friend of many around the world.

He suffered a massive heart attack this morning and was gone quickly. He was ready to go and be with Jesus.

Pictured: A fun memory of my dad and our daughters from a few years ago.

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4 ESV

When our dear ones become memories, the MEMORIES become treasures. I am trusting Father for you and your sweet family. I love you,

Marion

I am proud of you, that you were able to post.

Oh, Mary, so thankful that you were able to write this. Your Dad was friend, brother, spiritual father, teacher and mentor to me. I am so thankful to have known him, and having seen him in action in Seoul, Shanghai, YiWu and Shelton. I am so sorry for your loss, and pray for comfort for you and your family during this time of grief. He will never be forgotten!

Thank you for sharing regarding your Dad's homecoming! It's wonderful to know someone who knows how to really live each day in the Father's care, especially when that someone is a close family member! Our prayers are with you, Scot, and the rest of the family.

A Beautiful post. Your dad would proud of his legacy in you and the faith of his family. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants." Psalm 116:15
