Organic Cabbage Love

I found a way to improve my favorite tangy cabbage salad recipe from Mark Bittman. I used organic cabbage, which really bumped up the flavor and texture. I liked the rough chop, instead of shredding, too. Organic works for me!

I just finished a cabbage salad I made with cabbage fresh from the garden. Like you said, organic sure is good.....I just don't like finding some of the surprises fresh garden produce gives us. My sweet husband laughs at me and says, "Extra protein!" '~'
