Hope for Life After Death

I'm glad we know the rest of the story. If we stopped reading the gospels at the cross, all would be lost. Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross. And not staying there. Gives us hope for life after death.

Pictured: Flowers at my father-in-law's memorial service. We grieve his loss, but know we will see him again in heaven.

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 ESV

Before I even read your blog, I recognized the flowers. Didn't you say the stones were ones your father-in-law collected. Remembrance, it is a good thing. Especially when we remember what Christ did for us on the cross. I just came from our church's Good Friday Service. I still am in awe.

I love you,
Marion
