Fear and Great Joy

Good Friday revealed our need for salvation. And Easter reveals the path for hope.

You can listen to today's sermon on Fear and Joy from Pastor Seth Winterhalter.

But the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you." So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Matthew 28:5-8 ESV

We had a series of services Maunday Thursday, Good Friday, and Day of Waiting, then of course, Easter Sunday. I was brought to the realization I nailed Jesus to the cross. He hung on the tree because of me. Then last night my Ben and I watched Louie Giglio. In his sermon he said we couldn't even give out wretchedness to Father. He had to take it from us. Think about it, Father does it all. I am glad I am His.

I love you,
