New Convert

I never thought I could make the switch. I was raised on white rice. That comes with growing up in Asia. Sometimes fluffy, sometimes sticky. Never with butter. Jasmine rice is my all-time aromatic favorite. When we were first married I thought dinner was rice and something. My husband thought rice was for dinner, maybe once a week. Our family of six enjoys rice several times a week. It goes with creamed tuna, stir-fry, and turkey stroganoff. It goes in our burritos, tortilla soup, and split pea soup. Now we're thinking about adding fiber and nutrients to our diet. Brown rice comes highly recommended so we're giving it a chance. It definitely adds crunch to our diet! Tonight we tried some Uncle Ben's whole grain brown rice. Not bad. I think I like it.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV

Brown jasmine rice is very good, not so sticky as regular brown rice, just takes longer to cook than the white kind. I prefer brown rice now in almost all cases, so does Deanna, the guys haven't really made the switch yet :) B---
